Good morning on what is the last hiking day of this trip, for which my feet are profoundly grateful.
It’s the coldest day so far , there’s an earlier winter rawness to the air and light mist covers the hills.
I don’t know if I will make the top of Red Scree today, my feet truly are sore but in the end it really doesn’t matter.
As in life, so in hiking, there are many paths to travel, each one offering up a unique opportunity. I guess that is my biggest lesson so far, the destination shouldn’t be the be all and end all, it’s the experiences you take away from the journey itself that counts.
As we head to the weekend I hope you find time to reconnect to what is around you everyday and that happiness awaits you around every corner

Love and hugs
Els xx
