Good afternoon on what is a rather changeable weather day, so glad I made the most of yesterday’s great weather, hope you managed to as well.
So all the things I didn’t get round to yesterday have to be done today, including helping my eldest son with some A Level Maths revision.
This is proving much harder than I thought it would be as it is a good 30 + years since I did my A Level Maths. I’m sure I’ll get there eventually but boy what a way to spend your afternoon.
For him though, as for all A Level students, this is a stressful time, so much hinges for them on the results of these exams. The grades they get will determine their immediate futures as to whether or not they get their university placement or job offers. (If university is not for them).
Though the way of the world, it seems harsh that at such a young age they will already be judged by others as successes or failures dependent on a set of grades that have no real bearing on their true worth as individuals.
For all students studying for their final exams, whether A Level or GCSE, I wish you well and hope that you get the grades you need. It’s a lot of stress and pressure at a time in your life when you are just really beginning to understand who you are as a person.
Whatever you are up to today I hope you can find time to chill, find a way to de-stress that works for you. For me , coffee and cake works just fine!

Love and hugs
Els xx
